Many video and streaming sites compress uploaded files once more to save space, and turn the volume down to match. On a phone speaker you hardly notice, but with earphones the shimmer of cymbals and the depth of the bass get a little blurred.
AI Music List plays the file from the artist’s site without compressing it again. A song uploaded at 320 kbps plays at 320 kbps. If you have good earphones, give it a try.

Only songs the artists chose to share
Every song here was uploaded by an artist to their own site and chosen to be shared on AI Music List. If an artist changes their mind, they can take it down at any time. If you see a song uploaded without permission, you can report it.
Fair charts
The Top 100 counts how many different people listened, not how many times a song was played. The artist counts as one listener too. The same person playing a song again and again counts once per 24 hours. So the top song of the daily chart (the last 24 hours) is one that many people really listened to.

For artists — tips to make your songs sound better
- 1. Master it once before you upload
Mastering is like the final touch-up for a song. After mastering, the same song sounds fuller and balanced on both earphones and speakers. If it’s your first time, try BandLab Mastering: upload a file, pick a style you like, and it’s done in a few minutes — even the free results can surprise you. Compare it with the original and keep the better one. - 2. Don’t make it too loud
Louder can seem better, but past the limit the drums and bass distort and ears tire quickly. Many streaming sites aim for about -14 LUFS. If your mastering tool shows this number, aim near it. - 3. Upload your best file
Order matters: master first, then turn it into an MP3. Making an MP3 trims the sound a little, so do it only once, at the very end, and choose 320 kbps. To convert on your own computer, try fre:ac — completely free, no ads, for Windows and Mac. A file already made at low quality (for example 128 kbps) won’t get better if you convert it later.

The song image is the first thing listeners see. A large square image stands out much more in charts and lists. - 5. Pick the genre and sub-genres carefully
For an R&B song with rap in it, choose “R&B + Hip-hop”. It reaches the people looking for those genres and finds its place in the genre charts. - 6. Make an album once you have 10 songs
A public album of 10 to 30 songs can be featured in the new albums row on the AI Music List home page — the best shelf at the front of the shop, the first place everyone sees. A single song can get lost in a list, but an album hangs there with its cover. Ten songs with a similar mood are enough. - 7. Get closer with lyrics and a guestbook
With lyrics, listeners stay with a song longer. Reply to messages in your guestbook and visitors become fans who come back. - 8. Climb with good songs, not tricks
Playing your song again and again yourself counts once per 24 hours, so it won’t push it up. Sharing your site address on social media and uploading new songs steadily works best.
